Park Ridge, IL… State Representative Michael McAuliffe (R-Chicago) is again partnering with state and local services to put together a Kid’s Health and Safety Expo. The fair will feature jumpy houses, numerous touch-a-trucks, instructions on bicycle and internet safety as well as injury prevention and nutrition. Representatives from state and local offices will be at the fair with important information for parents on things like how to childproof your home.
“Every year I am happy to gather these great resources together for parents while keeping kids entertained all in one place,” Rep. McAuliffe said. “I encourage all parents in the 20th district to bring your kids out for an enjoyable, activity filled morning. This is a can’t miss event for the whole family.”
In addition to the booths and activities spread about the fair, there will be a series of demonstrations throughout the morning. This includes the Illinois State Police K-9 unit at 9:30am, the Traveling World of Reptiles at 10:00 a.m., and Fonseca Martial Arts at 11:30 a.m.
