RPark Ridge, IL… State Representative Michael McAuliffe (R-Chicago) is thrilled to again partner with numerous vendors in educational, health and child care, recreational and community services to put together a Kid’s Health and Safety Expo at Maine Park on Saturday June 15th.
Admission to the event is free with complimentary refreshments and giveaways also provided. This annual event features over two dozen trucks and vehicles for the kids to see, touch and sit in. Representatives from state and local organizations will be at the fair with important information for parents including how to childproof your home, injury prevention, and I-Cash.
“It’s a pleasure for me every year to be able to gather together these great resources for parents and activities for the kids,” Rep. McAuliffe said. “This fair is a great way for the whole family to spend an enjoyable, activity filled Saturday morning. This is a can’t miss event.”
In addition to the booths and activities like jump houses spread about the fair, there will be a series of demonstrations throughout the morning. The fun kicks off with Viking Gymnastics and Dance at 9:30am, the Traveling World of Reptiles at 10:00 a.m., and finally the Illinois State Police K-9 unit at 11:30 a.m.
